Dining Tables

Round, oval or rectangular, for four or for twelve.

Every table starts from a top worked as a piece in its own right: slats laid in a chevron on Atalya, a three-part rosette on Soluna, thick patinated reclaimed teak on Bowo, pale terrazzo on Citra and Bulan, white microcement on Vical. The bases follow, a central drum of slats for Orenda, a star-shaped spider base for Senjara, which extends from 220 to 300 cm, curved panels of reclaimed teak for Bulan and Citra.

From Le Carnet de Dominique

  1. Letting teak weather, or oiling it

Teak turns grey in the sun within a few months. Should you let it weather or oil it? What each choice involves, and how to go about it, step by step.

  2. Bar stool, 65 or 75 cm?

Kitchen island or proper bar, the right stool height comes down to one rule: 25 to 30 cm between seat and top. The measurements, and our bar stools.

  3. How many seats around a round table?

100 cm for four, 150 cm for six, eight at a squeeze: the 60 cm per guest rule, the space to allow around the table, and our round tables in teak.
