What makes solid teak unique?
Indonesian teak is a noble wood, naturally resistant to humidity, changes in temperature and insects. Its patina evolves over time and makes every piece distinctive.
Can your furniture go outdoors?
Most of it, yes. Thanks to its natural oils, teak suits outdoor as well as indoor use; paired with olefin rope, it stays comfortable outside. Each product page states its use: indoor & outdoor, or indoor only.
How do I care for teak furniture?
Cleaning with soapy water is enough day to day. Left untreated, teak takes on a silver-grey patina; fed with a suitable oil, it keeps its golden tone.
Small cracks have appeared. Is that normal?
Yes. Solid teak breathes, and fine surface cracks are the sign of genuine solid wood, not a defect.
Is your furniture made by hand?
Yes. Every piece is shaped by hand by Indonesian artisans, in small batches. No two are quite alike.
What is reclaimed teak?
Teak salvaged from old structures, given a second life. It keeps its knots, cracks and patina.
Do you deliver outside France?
Yes, across France, Europe and worldwide. Lead times and costs depend on the destination: see Delivery & terms.
Do you make bespoke pieces?
Yes, for private clients and professionals alike: a size, a finish, a seat. Let's talk.
Can I see the furniture before buying?
Yes, at the showroom in La Teste-de-Buch, or in your own space as an image with Balinaisa.ai.
Do you work with professionals?
Yes: hotels, restaurants, architects, interior designers, landscape architects. Dedicated pricing and support in the trade area.
