Bintang

Teak logs and diamonds of ecru strapping.

Bintang builds its frame from light teak logs, like a timber frame on a human scale. On the sides, ecru strapping crosses in diamonds and lets the light through. Ecru canvas cushions complete the seat: a lounge chair of frank character, at home indoors and outdoors.

Frequently asked questions

Can Bintang stay outdoors?

Yes, Bintang is made for indoors and outdoors alike. Teak is naturally rot-resistant: it stands up to rain, damp and sea spray.

How do I care for Bintang?

Left untreated, teak weathers to a silver-grey patina; fed with a suitable oil, it keeps its golden tone. Fine surface cracks may appear: they are the sign of a solid wood that breathes. Care instructions

How long does delivery of Bintang take?

In stock, the piece ships within 48 hours of payment: allow about 8 days in Gironde and 15 days in mainland France. Made to order or bespoke, it generally takes 16 weeks; the exact lead time is on the quote. Delivery and terms

Is Bintang available made to measure?

On quote: a size, a finish, a rope or fabric colour. Bespoke pieces are shaped by hand in Java; allow generally 16 weeks.

Where can I see Bintang?

At the showroom in La Teste-de-Buch, on Arcachon Bay. Not the whole collection is on display at once: call us to check whether Bintang is there. Otherwise, the simulator places the piece in your home from a single photo. The showroom
