Sun lounger

Rehat

A pale teak sun lounger that follows the sun.

The Rehat rests on castors: you move it through the day, towards the shade or towards the light. Its backrest reclines as you wish, from morning coffee to reading at full length. The light ecru mattress softens the pale teak, indoors or in the open air.

Frequently asked questions

Can Rehat stay outdoors?

Yes, Rehat is made for indoors and outdoors alike. Teak is naturally rot-resistant: it stands up to rain, damp and sea spray.

How do I care for Rehat?

Left untreated, teak weathers to a silver-grey patina; fed with a suitable oil, it keeps its golden tone. Fine surface cracks may appear: they are the sign of a solid wood that breathes. Care instructions

How long does delivery of Rehat take?

In stock, the piece ships within 48 hours of payment: allow about 8 days in Gironde and 15 days in mainland France. Made to order or bespoke, it generally takes 16 weeks; the exact lead time is on the quote. Delivery and terms

Is Rehat available made to measure?

On quote: a size, a finish, a rope or fabric colour. Bespoke pieces are shaped by hand in Java; allow generally 16 weeks.

Where can I see Rehat?

At the showroom in La Teste-de-Buch, on Arcachon Bay. Not the whole collection is on display at once: call us to check whether Rehat is there. Otherwise, the simulator places the piece in your home from a single photo. The showroom

From Le Carnet de Dominique

  1. Grade A teak: what does it mean?

Grade A means teak taken from the heart of the tree, the densest part and the richest in oils. What sets it apart, how to recognise it, and where it matters.

  2. A lounge by the pool

Sun lounger, daybed or canopy daybed: how to set up a lounge by the pool, how much space to allow, and how to care for teak after swimming in the pool.
